"Do We Have the Courage?" opening reception at Artspace Gallery in Richmond, Virginia, is February 23, 2024, 6 to 9 PM. The artist talk is 2PM on February 24th. The show will feature 13 layered photographic images that chronicle "the hero's journey" of two young people in a fantastic other-world. The images can be seen on this website. Please plan to attend!
In March 2024, I have been invited to participate in an exhibition with a half dozen other artists, all of whom are medical professionals. "Left Brain - Right Brain" opens on March 7th, at the Weinstein JCC in Henrico, Virginia.
In 2024, I will be participating in a year-long experience as a researcher at the Center for Arts, Design, and Social Research in Boston, Massachusetts. "The After School" will explore diverse living experiences and methods for ways of knowing and doing as a foundation for creative learning. The community of 30 scholars will engage in regional dialogues, international virtual exchanges, and at two residencies in Nairobi, Kenya and Tire, Turkey.
