"Richmond Residential Security" - an installation at 1708Gallery's
InLight annual evening art event, November 12 to 15, 2020.
The installation included 8 maps of Richmond, Virginia, that designated areas
of the city that were deemed to be at high risk for loans
by mortgage companies in the early 20th century,
based in part on neighborhoods' residents by race and national origin.
The artwork was installed at Moore's garage, an historic black-owned business on Broad Street
and a National historic Landmark.
